TSUBAME4.0 provides access to precompiled binaries for VASP license holders. If the VASP license is held by your supervisor or collaborator rather than yourself, you need to be registered under that license before applying. For membership registration under the license, please contact the license provider (either VASP GmbH or the Japanese distributor, MOLSIS Inc.).
After your application, we will verify your VASP license status (or membership registration status) and grant access accordingly.(Updated 2025-11-12) Please note that our VASP license for supercomputers is strictly an academic license. Therefore, when using VASP with a commercial license for industrial usages, users are required to compile the software themselves.
