TSUBAME4.0 Computing Services Outage Due to End-of-Year Maintenance (Spring 2025)

The end-of-year maintenance will be performed as follows.

The validity period of TSUBAME accounts will be until the end of the fiscal year for both on-campus and off-campus users.
If you wish to continue using TSUBAME next year, you need to apply for account reactivation via Portal for Science & Engineering Field or web form for on-campus users, and for off-campus users, you need to apply for account reactivation via web form. If you do not apply for next year's account, or if you lose your account status due to graduation, etc., the deadline is 9:00 a.m. on March 31 (Fri.). We will make another announcement as soon as it is decided when we will start accepting account continuation/resumption operations.

  1. Suspension Period

    March 31(Mon), 2025 9:00 to April 4(Fri), 2025 around 16:00

  2. Services to be suspended
    • Batch queue
      • All compute nodes will be stopped
    • TSUBAME Portal
    • Login nodes (login1, login2)
    • Strage services (/home, /gs/bs, /gs/fs)
    • License server
      • Software distributed on campus that refers to the TSUBAME license server will not be available.

3.Description of work, purpose of work, changes, etc.

  • Firmware and software updates for login nodes, compute nodes, storage, network devices, etc.
  • Change of default software version

    Details of the changes will be posted as they become available.
