The number of jobs submitted during the busy season has been extremely high, and the load on the job scheduler has been increasing.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by delays in processing point reimbursements.
We have seen people who seem to be using scripts or other methods to automatically submit jobs or submit large numbers of jobs.
While the mechanization of job submission is convenient and efficient, it can also cause an unexpectedly high load and impact on the scheduler.
We would like to ask users who are submitting jobs by scripts, etc., to please check the following points.
- Please check in advance in small cases that job submission/execution does not fail.
- Do not invoke the qsub command using incorrect procedures or submit job scripts that fail to execute.
- Especially, please check carefully when submitting array jobs.
- In case of continuous job submission, please make sure that the interval between qsub command invocations is at least 1 second by interspersing sleep commands or other means.
