3. How to login

3.1. Login to Open OnDemand

You can login to Open OnDemand login by username/password/email authentication or by using a security device. The method using a security device allows you to log in more quickly than email authentication.

3.2. Login by Username/password/Email Authentication

When logging into Open OnDemand without a security key registered, use username/password/email authentication.

To log in to Open OnDemand, access the following in your web browser

Enter your TSUBAME login name in Username and press Sign In.

Enter your TSUBAME password in Password, respectively, and press Sign In.

An e-mail with an access code will be sent to the e-mail address registered in the TSUBAME Portal.

Copy the number in the Access code, paste it into the space below, and press Submit.

After a certain period of time, the access code will become invalid. In this case, press “resend code” to reissue the access code.

After successful login, the dashboard will appear.

If you see the error shown below or cannot log in, please access the URL on the top page or dashboard.

3.3. Login by Security keys

If you have already registered one or more security keys on the ACCESS CONTROL SERVER, you can log in by following the steps below.

The procedures and screenshots presented in this manual may vary depending on your OS, application version, device, browser settings, and other factors.
If the screenshots do not match the manual, please make your own judgment accordingly.

To log in to Open OnDemand, access the following in your web browser

Enter your TSUBAME login name and press “Sign In”.

A list of registered security devices will be displayed, press “Sign in with Securituy Key”.

3.3.1 Login by Chrome/Google Password Manager (Windows)

Info

It is assumed that you are using Google Chrome and are logged in to the Google account to be linked.

Select “Google Password Manager.”

Enter the PIN code.

After successful login, the dashboard will appear.

3.3.2 Login by Keychain Access (Mac)

The Touch ID dialog will appear, proceed Touch ID.

After successful login, the dashboard will appear.

3.3.3 Login by Keychain (iOS)

Select “Use Smartphone or Tablet.”

Scan the QR code with your iPhone/iPad camera.

Operate Touch ID on iPhone/iPad.

The Touch ID dialog will appear, proceed Touch ID.

A message similar to the one shown below will appear on your iPhone/iPad.

After successful login, the dashboard will appear.

3.3.4 Login by Google Authenticator (Android)

When the QR code appears, read it with the camera of the device to be registered.

In Google Authenticator on your Android device, press + to “Scan QR Code” or use the device's camera to read the QR code as is.

On some devices, QR codes do not seem to be recognized correctly when scanned with the camera application.
Please scan the QR code from Google Authenticator.

The following message will be displayed, and proceed.

Google Authenticator will display “Use Passkey Continue”, press “Continue”.

Enter PIN code or perform fingerprint authentication.

After successful login, the dashboard will appear.
